CRASH OF A VOUGHT KINGFISHER
IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
ON 23 FEBRUARY 1944

USN Vought OS2U-3, BU No. 5659, of VS-61 Squadron, FAW-10 Wing, US Navy based at Advance Base Perth, in Western Australia, crashed somewhere in Western Australia on a training flight on 23 February 1944. It was piloted by Samuel W. Walker with crew man Arthur W. Snively.
