CRASH OF A BOOMERANG

Boomerang A46-81 of 85 Squadron RAAF, piloted by Sqn/Ldr C.N. Daly, slewed to starboard after landing, possibly at Guildford airfield in Western Australia on 25 May 1943. Sqn/Ldr Daly was the Commanding Officer of 85 Squadron RAAF. The starboard wing clipped the ground. The wing, flaps, pitot head and cannon mounting covers were damaged when the starboard undercarriage leg collapsed.
