Boomerang A46-31 of 85 Squadron RAAF, piloted by Sgt. B.O. Wolf, stalled after turning sharply just after take-off from Guildford airfield, Western Australia on 22 September 1943. Sgt. Wolf was killed in this crash. He was buried at the War Graves section at Karrakatta cemetery following an Air Force funeral.
