Was with the Railways until approx 1931, then went to Waitaki Hydro Contruction until 1934, then back to Dunedin.
Recommenced employment with the Railways and was with them until he retired in 1965.

In Jan 1968 Jack and Jane of 7 Bradshaw St, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand ,
organised a Family Reunion.
It was the first time in 10 years that all the family members were together along with the grandchildren.
