David Temple

ID# 5729, (c 1786 - b 1851)

David Temple was born c 1786 at Scotland

According to the 1841 Census, it appears that David was most likely not born in Lanark, as he was listed just as Scotland.
This indicated he was not born in the county the Census was conducted in.

Date is from the 1841 Census, which also rounded down the ages, so David may have been born between 1781 - 1786.

David Temple married Jean Gardner, daughter of William Gardner and Elizabeth Gilmour, on 8 Nov 1811 at Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland ,

Cannot locate any burial record for a David Temple, between 1841 - 1851.
Have looked under Semple, Templeton as well as other various combinations.

There is a Mort Cloth purchase for a David Semple 9 Dec 1842, cost of 3s. but the record is for Cambuslang, which is across the river south of Shettleston and David and Jean did not live in this area.

David and Jean had 7 Children located. Suspect there most likely are more due to marriage in 1811.

I cannot locate the baptisms of the any children.
