The US Army Base Section Two, Signal Section established themselves in "Beak House" at 336 Flinders St., Townsville. This is now the site of the Metro Pharmacy. Two weeks later the Base Chemical Officer also moved into this building.
Beak House is the building on the left which was built in the 1920's.
