CRASH OF A VULTEE VENGEANCE
AT HIGGINS FIELD, QLD

Vultee Vengeance

On 4 May 1944, RAAF Vultee Vengeance of 23 Squadron, crashed in the Higgins Field area, killing Flying Officer Sydney Larner Porter (412681) and Warrant Officer Henry James Addison (413936). They were both buried at the Townsville War Cemetery.

Can anyone help me with details on this crash?
