651ST LIGHT ANTI-AIRCRAFT BATTERY

The 651st Light Anti-aircraft Battery (651 LAA) established its headquarters at Whinstanes near the Old Cotton Mill in Brisbane, Queensland. The Commanding Officer of the 651st was Captain Col Fraser, RAA. By 1944, the 651st Battery had its four Bofors anti-aircraft guns located at:-
