12 Mile Camp was a military camp located about 12 miles south of Darwin in the Northern Territory.
Companies "A" and "B" of the 808th Engineer Aviation Battalion left for Darwin at 0730 hrs by train reaching 12 mile camp at 1630 hrs on 18 July 1942.
