Wallgrove Army Base was located west of Sydney in New South Wales. Wallgrove Army Camp was on the site of the now defunct amusement park called Australia's Wonderland. The site was recently sold to build more industrial sites. Eastern Creek Raceway and the M5 Freeway have also been built on or near the site.

Wallgrove Airfield is located 1.5 miles north east at Doonside near Wallgrove Army Base.

21st Light Horse Regiment 2/19th Battalion 2/25th Australian Infantry Battalion
2/31st Australian Infantry Battalion 3rd Infantry Battalion 6 Machine Gun Battalion, 2AIF
9th Australian Division (AIF) 53rd Anti-aircraft (Composite) Regiment
