CRASH OF A WIRRAWAY
IN EDWARD RIVER NEAR DENILIQUIN
ON 27 OCTOBER 1942

"Doug" Bell of 7SFTS RAAF flew up the Edward River in his Wirraway on 27 October 1942. He crashed into the river and was killed.
