CRASH OF A WIRRAWAY
NEAR DENILIQUIN, NSW
ON 1 DECEMBER 1942

Alf Kirkwood of 7SFTS RAAF was killed when his Wirraway crashed into the ground near Deniliquin in New South Wales. It was reported that Alf had just received a "Dear John" letter just prior to his crash.
