CRASH OF A LIBERATOR
NEAR DARWIN, NT
AFTER AUGUST 1944

USAAF B-24J Liberator, #42-73134, "Milady" of the 531st Squadron of the 380th Bomb Group, crashed near Darwin in the Northern Territory killing several men. It is apparently one of the few Liberator wrecks that can still be seen in Australia.
