CRASH OF A LIBERATOR
AT DARWIN, NT
ON 28 NOVEMBER 1945

B-24L Liberator, A72-137, ex USAAF No. # 44-41513, of 25 Squadron RAAF was damaged beyond repair when it ran into a ditch at Darwin on 28 November 1945. It was later converted for components.

This aircraft was first delivered to the RAAF on 27 November 1944.
