CRASH OF A TIGER MOTH
2 MILES NORTH OF MATONG
IN THE NARRANDERA DISTRICT, NSW
ON 25 MARCH 1941

On 25 March 1941, an RAAF Tiger Moth crashed about 2 miles north of Matong in the Narrandera district of New South Wales. 

Leading Aircraftman, Martin Butler Mahony, formerly of Upper Yarraman, Queensland died of his injuries in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney on 26 March 1941.
