CRASH OF A B-26 MARAUDER?
AT NOWRA, NSW
ON 1 JUNE 1942

B-26 Marauder #40-1507 of the 19th Bomb Squadron, 22nd Bomb Group crashed and was totally destroyed at Nowra, New South Wales on 1 June 1942. Two men were injured. The injured men were Squadron Leader G. F. Ell (RAAF) and Sgt Lazar USAAC.

Mark Clayton, the Director of the Australian Naval Aviation Museum at Nowra is researching this crash.
