25.11.37 Newcastle Aero Club Broadmeadow
30.01.39 Crashed at air display at Orange.Third 'bomb' to be thrown at ground target exploded prematurely. The device required striking on ignition strip mounted on side of cockpit and was supposed to have a 6 second delay. The pilot EJ Buck (CFI of the club) seriously injured. Aircraft crashed some 75 yards from spectators. Pilot died soon after rescuers reached the aircraft.

Accident Investigation Committee concluded that in view of this accident CAD should give consideration to the whole question of the carriage of explosives, pyrotechnics and other dangerous substances in civil aircraft.
