CRASH OF A WIRRAWAY
1.5 MILES FROM WILLIAMTOWN AIRFIELD, NSW
ON 3 MARCH 1943

On 3 March 1943, RAAF Wirraway A20-93, of 4 OTU ORB, crashed 1.5 miles from Williamtown aerodrome. Sgt Francis James Callaghan (20203), pilot, and Sgt Edward Albert Thuell WAG, were killed in this crash.
