CRASH OF A P-40E KITTYHAWK
AT WEST MAITLAND, NSW

ON 22 FEBRUARY 1942

On 22 February 1942, a USAAF P-40E Kittyhawk, Serial No. #41-24779, piloted by Lt. W.D. Jackson, crashed at West Maitland in New South Wales. It was damaged beyond repair.

 

Was the pilot killed or injured?
