A Japanese Zeke crash landed on Melville Island on 5 April 1943. A party fron 7 Repair and Salvage Unit RAAF led by Pilot Officer O'Conner left Pell airfield to salvage the Zeke. They arrived back disappointed on 27 APril. The Zeke had already been recovered by the time they arrived on Melville Island.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
