CRASH OF A SPITFIRE
IN DARWIN AREA
ON 24 APRIL 1944

RAAF F.VC Spitfire, A58-232 (MA353), went missing during a test flight from Strauss on 24 April 1944. Wreckage was located in the Darwin area at Map Reference 12.46 - 130.24.

 

Can anyone tell me more about this crash?
