CRASH OF A B-25D MITCHELL
AT HORN ISLAND, QLD
ON 10 OCTOBER 1942

USAAC B-25D Mitchell bomber, #41-29703 "Mississippi Rebel", of the 405th Bomb Squadron of the 38th Bombardment Group crashed at Horn Island, QLD on 10 October 1942 during a Japanese air raid on Horn Island.

 

Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
