CRASH OF A FAIREY BATTLE
AT PORT PIRIE??, SA
ON AN UNKNOWN DATE

visits since 18 June 2002

RAAF Fairey Battle L5760 from No. 2 BAGS Port Pirie, in South Australia stalled in a turn and dived into the ground from 500ft.

Sgt. S.R. Schole (416617) & A.C.I. S.D. Thompson were both killed.
