Can anyone help me with the disposition and general history of a B-25C Mitchell bomber, Serial # 42-53441.

It flew combat missions in North Africa April 5,1943 - September 30, 1943. It was called "Moby Dick" while it was in South Africa. It then served in the Italian campaign where it was declared surplus November 1945.

After North Africa, it's history was :-

"Disposition: c/n 90-11928; For Netherlands East Indies Air Force as N5-231."

Group Captain Charles "Moth" Eaton flew her in 50 combat missions.
