Radio station "Sydney WVJM" was part of the Army Command and Administrative Network (ACAN) operated by the US Army Signal Corps during WWII.
The ACAN radio chart, dated May 1942, shows the following ACAN stations in the Pacific:-
- Melbourne, WTJJ (RAAF), at General Douglas MacArthur's headquarters at that time - he soon after moved to Brisbane
- Hawaii, WTJ
- Noumea, WVJN
- Darwin WVJK
- Townsville WVJL
- Sydney, WVJM
Can anyone please confirm where this radio station was located?
