They flew to Trossy-De-Maximin,Pauillac, Fonteney-Le-Marmion, Aire-Sur-Lys, Fontaine-Le-Pin, Stettin, Ghent, Russelheim, Kiel, Gilze Rijen, Le Havre, Rheine, Sangatte, Manston, Neuss Ruhr and places only described as 'Battle Area'.

At the end of the entry for 8 August 1944 it simply reads (21st birthday) jotted down in pencil. 30 August 1944 just says 'Special Duties'. Most of the flights/sorties are taken in Lancs PB 176 G and PB 469. There was one other pilot and that was F/L Anderson for one flight on 22 September 1944 to Manston at 14:00 hrs. Ken Hackett returned at 16:00 hrs with Watts at the controls. Ken's tour of operations were completed on 25 September 1944  but he flew with 460 Squadron RAAF for the next three days with the final flight being on 28 September 1944. His logbook was signed on 18 October 1944 by L.G. Fuller for S/L O.C. "A" Flight  and again on 21 October 1944 by K.R. Parsons W/CDR O.C. 460 Sqdn.
