2 SPERRY SEARCHLIGHTS AT MURRARIE
BRISBANE, QLD, DURING WW2

The US Army possibly had two Sperry searchlights located on the hill at the location of today's Murrarie Primary State School during WW2. They were located not far from the Murrarie and Gibson Island Cruiser berths on the nearby Brisbane River and the Bulimba Power Station.
