CRASH OF A BEAUFIGHTER
AT CAPE HELVETIBG, BATHURST ISLAND?
ON 29 DECEMBER 1942

On 29 December 1942, Beaufighter A19-71 of 31 Squadron RAAF, crashed at Cape Helvetibg on Bathurst Island.

Could this be the same as the one that is listed as crashed at Cape Fourcroy on Bathurst Island on the 31 December 1942?

 

Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
